game aborted mid game?

Happened twice to me in the last half hour ...

Chess.com server sux [removed -- MS]

same. happened after the server reset. played a couple games after the server reset and game was aborted. I was winning

There was a major rating bug and the live server was restarted to fix.

Guys it is due to chess.com servers being down

I lost 100 points during the ratings bug a couple months ago and never had them restored

Wow, a game aborted, that makes me remember about an aborted game when i was losing 

Server restart usually happens and the games don't count regardless if you are winning or losing

Just happened to me. Was in a winning position, opponent started stalling and then the game was aborted. Now there's no archive of the game.

The site's servers had to reset or something. Everyone in a game 10 min ago had the game aborted. It's a feature not a flaw.

The servers restarted, that's all. That's why all the games were aborted.

The servers restarted, I saw the message that the servers were going to restart in 39 minutes, and then played games.

I don't understand why chess.com hasn't implemented an aborting game penalty other than the normal rule. If you have say for example 3 game abortions in maybe 3 days or a week you get docked the points as if you lost the game. Not that exactly but again it's an example.
