Game Boards: Problems With Posting

Hello all,

I like posting sample positions and game board diagrams in posts but I have had a couple of problems that I have not been able to resolve.  Hoping my fellow Chess.com members can give me some advice.  The first problem I have is with using the .pgn option.  Once I get the game loaded up, it won't let me add comments and alternative variations to the first 15 or so moves.  I'm so frustrated that I always start with a fresh board and just manually make the moves.  Which leads me to my second complaint which is after 30 minutes I get the pop-up box telling me to save my work and no matter what I do, I lose all my work.  So I'm basically stuck with doing all of the analysis ahead of time and then rushing to get my game inserted in under 30 minutes.  Help please!!  Thank you,
