game clock(s) stopped but not disconnected

Recently, several times after my move the screen freezes and no action on the board is possible BUT apparently I can send chat messages though there is no response from the opponent. At first I thought it was a typical connection kind of problem without an error message. But if I continue to wait the screen will display a message indicating that I have lost due to timeout. Okay, fine... buggy code, move on. BUT this has only occurred when I have a clear advantage. Anyone else? At least I the problem of the game being aborted in similar positions has been fixed.
It’s happened to me a couple of times recently myself and I’ve lost as a result.

Been happening to me to. If I close the app then reopen it. The clock starts moving again

Android and iOS have the issue. In iOS 1st try the move back button then forward- seems to restart the frozen clock. If not close and reopen the app. Don’t log out as you’re not disconnected.
There’s a dozen+ threads throughout the topics on the issue of the clock freezing for both apps in live play. Dev’s “working on it”
To report a bug or make a suggestion, hover over the 'help' icon in the lower left of any page on Chess.com and click on "Report a bug". A ticket will be opened and the problem will be looked into.

It's happening to me too 
made me lose games and it's really annoying... I found out that if you will offer a DRAW, than the game will resume. hope it will be fixed soon, need to work hard on earning these lost points...
Hi all, I hope this helps.. when the game freezes try hitting “Resign” but then UNCONFIRM. This seems to unfreeze the game every time. Interested to know if it works for everyone?

It doesn’t work for me in ios app, @cashton79. Thanks for the tip anyway. Several broken games for this reason last days
