http://www.chess.com/livechess/game?id=650236582 In this game you could have claimed a draw by three-fold repetition around move 43. This is an interesting case because under FIDE or USCF rules it would have been drawn, because it is impossible for either player to checkmate the opponent.
game won't draw

I have an opponent playing on in K+R vs K+R refusing draw offers. Is there anything i can do? Edit: after about 6 moves he has finally agreed. Out of interest are there any options when your opponent plays on in dead drawn positions? Or do you just have to wait for the 50 move rule?

In a "drawn" position if your opponent wont agree to a draw, you will have to play on until there has been a threefold repitition or the 50 move rule applies. Then you can press the "offer draw" button and the software will declare the game drawn.
In an OTB game you could call an arbiter to get the game declared a draw, but that is beyond the scope of online chess software.

I cant force a draw of my life depended on it. I have an archived game where I moved the king back and forth between same 2 spots 20 times and it would not let me draw. I've had games go into 80 moves. So many games it will not let me draw. I can only ask and the player decline. I've been force drawn and stalemated by many players but I dont understand why I can't do it???

Have a look at the actual rules of 3x repetition and 50 move rule. https://www.chess.com/learn-how-to-play-chess
It is quite possible for you to to repeat your own move 20 times or play a game of 150 moves, and neither of them satisfy the 3x or 50 move rule.
Has anyone had experience on this site where games are obviously drawn but unless the participants offer and accept, the game will continue until a player's clock runs down?
I had 2 games in one day that had absolutely certain draw positions and when my opponent wouldn't accept, it turned into a joke. We repeated positions in one game and in another the pawn structure was such that neither player could advance or take with king. I think this would hurt better players than myself even more because at a higher level they would probably end up in such positions more often.
Anyone else experience this or any comments?
