Gary Kasparov on Realtime With Bill Maher on HBO last night

Realtime With Bill Maher is mostly a panel discussion, with humerous interludes at start (monogue), about half-way through, and at the end. Maher always selects one person to bring into the discussion with a focused interview. This week it was Gary Kasparov.

So, what, you may wonder, is on a World Champion Chess player's genius mind? Kasparov was highly critical of Putin. He also seemed reasonably confident Maher could not beat him (Kasparov) in a game of Stratego. :-)

Here's the 1:1 part of the interview with Gary Kasparov:

Segment where Kasparov interjects points during panel discussion:

-- Starts talking (arguing with Maher)  about 2 minutes in.

-- Speaks about 8 minutes in, blaming Clinton not pushing Yeltsin harder

harder about not giving nuclear technology to Iran.

-- 13 minutes in blames Clinton for disarming Ukraine

Making a fool of himself as usual. His debating strategy is about 1) talking about the holocaust and Putin being like Hitler 2) pulling out numbers. How it ever got into his head that Putin is worse than the US or bad at all is really strange.

Putin *is* worse than the U.S. He just has less power. Otherwise I agree with you about Kasparov's arguments on the show.
