Chess clock history

Sorry, back in the 20th Century I was using mostly the cheap analog/flag clocks sold by the U.S. Chess Federation that were marked "Made in West Germany" on the back.  They lasted forever and I still have one boxed away somewhere.  I didn't pay much attention to the one's used by the GM's.  I also still have an analog/flag Jerger clock, a really nice one with the wide, flat brass buttons on top instead of the cheap, thin rounded-head buttons. It used to draw oohs-and-ahs in the pre-digital days.
