lol its chess not an fps, internet connection doesn't mean much. Unless we talk about a very unstable connection.
> Three of your four most recent wins were on time. A fourth was owed to a mouse slip.
First, its a blitz game, it is about time as well you know. Second, last 8 victories have 2 time wins, one mistake (which I asked to ignore), Third, its not just about the last 8 victories
Not complaining, but I have been winning ALOT against players that I thought were too good to be beaten with such consistency.
Few days ago I may not have beaten any player having more points than I have now - 1795 in 5 | 0
My theories on why I am winning...
- I have actually gotten ridiculously better.
- I got intimidated by higher ranked players earlier
- Other high 1700+ players think I am great, think silly mistakes as tactics.
- 1800 points are not that good (as I think)
- 5 | 0 is unreliable.
- happens.
Also I really don't know what I am doing right. I think I 'see' positions better, maybe making fewer mistakes, maybe less afraid to try difference things. Or it could be just loads of practice and playing and loving the game for as long as I can remember .
Anyone want to have a quick look here (ignore the last game)? : https://chess.com/games/archive/gyaani_guy?show=live_blitz&gameType=live_blitz&rated=rated
Enjoy it while it lasts.

Is it possible your internet service has improved? Enough so that you are not losing games on time yourself?
It looks like you were already a 1700 until a recent downturn took you down to 1500 or so.
