Moral support to play OTB

I am 25 old and rated around 1300 in blitz in chess.com. I started playing chess seriously a few months ago. I always wanted to participate in a OTB tournament . Luckily I came to know about a fide Under 1400 (30+30) tournament happening near my place on Feb 1st, so I signed up for it. Now I am scared a bit as I feel I might not good enough to compete in it and may fail to win a single game(swiss system 9 rounds).
Please give tips regarding any thing from do-donts to chess openings to, how I should feel about otb.will I be able to win some..etc.
PS: please post your fide and chess.com ratings if possible.
