How about Buddhist play chess?

I have been wondering if meditation before playing might improve my concentration.

It's not about "religion." It's about, at least as far as I'm concerned, focusing the mind via the practice of meditation. I know Christians, Jews and even atheists who meditate.

I HATE Buddhists, a Buddhist stole my girlfriend from me.
And now you are enlightened!

What is a "militant pacifist" thought the two were mutually exclusive, but go figure.
Someone who believes in achieving peace by any means necessary.
Peace through war....freedom is slavery?

Buddhism was invented in the same land where chess was invented, so...
so... I quit chess.
Quit trolling also.

No, I'm not a quitter anymore. After I found my feet at the weight watchers class I quit. So, no more quitting after that!
Lol.😋

both statements are contestable - kapilavastu may have been in today's nepal :-)

No. Even if kapilavastu is in Nepal(debatable), still Buddhism was born in Kashi and Gaya(both in India). Gaya was supposedly the place where Buddha was enlightened and Kashi was the place where he preached his religion for the first time.
As for chess, it is also an Indian invention.

That the 1984 quote: "War is Peace. Freedom is Slavery. Ignorance is Strength." I'm beginning to think Orwell simply had his dates wrong.
