I'll confess, I never would have considered 9. Nb3. Had you seen this idea before of meeting ...c4 with Ng5 and Nxe6?
Nb3 was the engine move after I started seeing these 'delayed' variations with a6 and h6 or even the Morozevich line with 3. Be7. Basically I just did research on the similarities of these lines when it comes to g5!? and the a6 one just happen to spit out Nb3, so I explored more. It's very interesting, I will say.
