Well i am 13. Been playing in tournaments since i was 8. I spend alot of time on my moves. In my last tourney i was easily beating this guy but i was extremely low on time and messed up.

Spending less time on your moves would appear to be in order.
My rating is 1600. How do i get better at chess.
