Read books with lots of game analysis, or stuff with openings, endgames, tactics, etc. Don't even purchase them, just borrow from your local library. Libraries have a surprisingly good selection of chess books.

There are all kinds of chess videos for free on youtube. Â There's a lot of crap but some outstanding presenters as well including the prestigous St. Louis Chess Club. Â Have you ever checked out NM Heisman's web site? Â I'll give you a link to 10 years of his monthly chess columns.
