Getting draw for no reason

Fresh example: https://www.chess.com/game/143591217950I bet if I were in that position where I lost with time, it would have given me a loss for sure!

You have insufficient material to checkmate him, so you physically could not win the position. If you had a pawn left and he timed out, it would be a win, because you could have promoted it. You cannot checkmate with just a bishop and king.

If you do not have enough material to checkmate (ex. Only king, king+knight), but your opponent runs out of time, it's a draw. But if you do have enough material to checkmate (even a pawn is enough!), and your opponent runs out of time, it’s a win for you.

In game you are white with a K and B. Black has K and P. Black ran out of time, but you had insufficient material which is a draw. Now pretend the same position you (White) ran out of time. In this case you are correct you would lose the game as you said! This is because Black has sufficient material because it has a Pawn.
Can someone explain to me why when I'm stressing out every second to make my move count and end the match as draw, I always lose. But when my opponent is in the same position, they always get a draw! Why can't they lose ???
