You do own a chess set, don't you?
Notice I said nothing about blitz.

Okay I'll do more tactics. But don't make it look as though all I do is play games. I watched videos on opening theory tactics etc. It's not like I've only been playing games without looking at anything else. Chess.com is not everything
Games and getting experience is one thing, but you have to learn something new if you want your rating to increase. This can be a new opening, new tactical motives, or just some strategy. The important thing is that you keep playing and learning something new, not just only playing.
"..., you have to make a decision: have tons of fun playing blitz (without learning much), or be serious and play with longer time controls so you can actually think. ..." - IM Jeremy Silman (June 9, 2016)
I'm not sure what "ten minute" means, but I suspect that many would believe that there is not enough opportunity for actually thinking.

You are doing some things correctly. But the playing nothing but bullet/blitz, and no long time control games isnt going to allow you to improve, allow you to utilize what youre learning, or allow you to fully understand what youre trying to learn.
When you learned how to read. Did you start with speed reading?, or did you start with the basics?
I was around 1100 last week but have now dropped to below 1000 in 10 minute. I have over 1000 games played. I watched all the beginner chess fundamentals videos by John Bartholomew on Youtube plus many more. I don't see how it is possible that I can invest hours and hours into this game but instead of seeing an improvement I've actually gotten worse. Why is this happening and how do I actually improve.
