Just chill. Ok?

J-Star-Roar

@Wilbert

You didn't say:

know! People who think everyone should resign if they're a single prawn down make me laugh! LOL!

Therefore although your snark detector needs a little cleaning, it isn't broken. Plenty of hope for you. Laughing

J-Star-Roar

@Galaxychess Are you randomly directing your chill message into outer space, or is there anyone in particular it's aimed at?

You send this before or after he sends "gg" ?

galaxychess123

I'm just chilling telling other people to chill ;-). (I'm normally not a chill person at all)

@J-Star-Roar

Haha thank you, after I read it again it was obvious he was making fun of just that. And I agree!

People on my level can sometimes clearly see, ok, this endgame is lost, so I resign. But I also see 1200's resign in positions that aren't that clear at all. And even if they are clear, on that level there is always the chance that your opponent doesn't know how to play a particular endgame.

Take for example the knight - bishop endgame... You need to practice it before you can do it. When playing a stronger opponent for fun, I always play until the bitter end. Just for the endgame practice.

Spreading goodwill across the forums of chess.com is very commendable. Thank you for calming the trolls and sweetening the arguments with your concise but so touching message. You can change the world saying chill.

But what if they're sweaty?

Beck_Pulis

I get annoyed by it, but who cares

galaxychess123

I am a "goodwill" spreader by name. So, just chill.

J-Star-Roar

brrr

galaxychess123

lol, not that "chill"

leodwita

You are taking chess too seriously.

"gg" stands for "good game". If it was good by his standards, then it was good to him. If it wasn't good for you (even if you lost) then you should look into how to better yourself. Dwelling onto how he reacted is something so trivial.

Don't be so sure. If you search urbandictionary long enough...

Look I either say gg as good game, or when I lose by completely messing upWink(GOOD GRIEF!) I don't like people who always think gg is bad!
