Gif Animation Profile Icons

Hi All,

Without testing as I no time to find my original if need image ... however the question then is:

#1 We know that you can have a gif image in the body of our profile, ok cool

#2 However I did not know until I seen one of my students friends have a gif / animated profile image ... meaning not in body of profile data but the actual little image you see upon playing an opponent ... in friends list you can see the gif and its animation

#3 The question then posed here is does that gif / animation work while showing and playing a game? I would doubt it for distraction purposes but am with wonder as I have not played a person with an animated gif image yet

Mine is a gif but many say it's not working

Because it is not doing any kind of movement 😕

Either GIF or WEBP, and the animation is visible during games yet sometimes I saw problems with animating the GIF-images

I remember some players who said that they used flashy animated profile pictures to distract opponents

Interesting ... as I have never play a gif or webp player and seen such as well to which I would think would not be allowed during game ... interesting only time will tell until i play someone ... thanks for feedback !

Guys as i see that this forum is not being used anymore i would like to ask someone to teach me how to turn a gif into a webp, i know usa-elephant said to take our learning of tech somewhere else but this forum is not used anymore so if someone sees this post i´d like to ask him if he could teach me how to turn a gif into webp

Because i read that the archive of the gif for the pfp needs to be webp so it works, but i also just read that gif pfp are being deleted and if you try to have one on your profile it doesn't work anymore.
