I could read a book on this interesting topic. Would love to see how others are described. Petrosian, Smyslov, for example. And where is Spassky? And women too! Hou Yifan, Cera Menchuk. Polar! And some greats that never became WC but could have and had what it takes. . I am thinking Korchnoi, Gelfan, Bronstein. Where is Keres? This should be a book. So interesting that non chess fans might read it too on the theme of what it takes to be great
