Gm Smirnov course " Self taught GM" worth it?

Would you recommend me the self taught gm course? I´ve got the feeling that it might be worth the money, when looking at all the components included in the course. I feel that it´s quite hard as a beginner to find and buy the right books specified in each " segment", and then turn it to proper chess-knowledge/ability. This course is something wich seems to cover alot of basic ideas, and uniquely teaching when to use them.

I´m looking for a new way to increase my chess, and i hope somebody either recommend this course or any other good way to get better at this awsome game.

Try Capablancas book Chess fundamentals, then Capablancas Chess endings by chernev, then study the ALekhine-Capa match afterwards. They maybe old books but they are worth the time spent. Prove me wrong.Wink (coz by the time youre finished with theses books you'll be kicking my __ss by wins and checkmate.)

Thats some great tips, although I was asking for some opinions wether or not the course mentioned in my first post is worth its rather high price or not? Thank you
