The knights are so small on most chess sets that they have to carry knives instead of swords...

Seriously....I recently started playing Go over at OGS....I have to say I absolutely love this game.There's such harmony and beauty in this game,and without the opening theory that dominates chess.There's so much to learn.

Haven't gotten that far yet .I know simple concepts like hane,atari,life and death etc,ko etc.

You are correct...I worded it incorrectly.black to move to kill a few stones (the four stones in the corner).

It has been 20 years since I have played go, but I used to be decent, but I think the whole group can be killed. It will hinge on S8 not being a valid "me". Not sure though...where is our local Go expert?
