For all the V2 users that are struggling with V3. Take your time getting to know V3 don't panic and go to this link as much as you can. 39 UTube videos made by Danny showing how to do many things in V3. If you really want to learn V3 they will help

39 videos is a lot of videos. I doubt I will watch any of them. My suggestion was to have hover balloons explaining what a link does. When the user gets tired of a specific balloon then click the x so it won't pop up again. Or maybe that's too complicated.

When they get rid of V2, V3 will become more powerful than you can possibly imagine.

I have used both V2 and V3. The graphics seem better with V3, and I am pretty much used to it.

Try it for sometime, I'm pretty sure you'll like it.

AussieMatey

Maybe even fly straight over Japan ......

Crazychessplaya

V3 doesn't even show how many times a thread was viewed! How pathetic is that?

yes death stroke 2611 Cc was not Exist, it was www.chesspark.com

I do not link that link you can type it by your hands and then click it, you will find your self at chess.com

that www.chesspark.com was Exist since 19 years ago... so Cc then was Exist since 19 YO

any way what is the important here? the 19 years old or the closing of V2 ???

who is TROLLING and BULLYING now YOU or ME ???

The_Storm_555

19 years old is my age in this site, this is a very long time...

www.chess.com Version 2 is the most GREAT thing happened to me :(

so I agree with the next:

I liked the V2 setup better and a lot of the improvements could have been implemented in V2 without changing the lay out.... The lay out of V2 was much better and it offered a better overall overview.

cc has got so much right as a chess website that encourages social interaction , its allowed for some very long lasting friendships and even rivalries ,

im so hoping that when v3 happens they dont lose what they got so good at , i think the biggest problem is for those using phones to make the transition , they get alot of glitches it seems

there was a saying amongst new age travellers in britain in the 90s

Mutate and Survive ,

reflecting the hardships they faced (by their govt ,but no politics, just a fact) so im gonna keep that in mind as i get used to the new format i guess

V3 is much better.

This post seems like when windows 95 was expired for windows XP.....

Millions and millions messages to the forums against Windows XP.....

After some years, there was the same when Winxp expired for the new Windows 7....tons of comment agains Win7 because "XP is the best!!!!!" ... etc etc.....

EVERY new software have the fans ....and the haters.....

V3 is not the first to has this problem, and will not be the last.......

When v4 will exit, we will have the v4 fan, and v4 haters.......

The thing I like about chess.com is that it is constantly changing and improving. Sometimes it may take a step back before progress is made. They have a large, good team working to add features and fix bugs. There are great members who contribute by paying money, and with feedback. Also by sharing information and helping. Also there are members who should seek the help of a mental health professional.

There is already a filter there for clubs you are part of and by country. A rating band could be a nice feature. Request it along with use cases. I can see club admins use it and certain specialty clubs. Heck, it could be a premium only feature even.

I agree, it sucks that it doesn't remember where it was. I accidentally clicked through when attempting it on my phone just now (made it to 900 or so).

does that mean you didn't reach 1500? I hope you were doing it on wifi, otherwise you might reach your data limit

it is not a problem, it is not the end of the world, it is just a simple goodbye for something I used to be on for at least 15 years, and it is not an operating system it is feelings friends social connections, some of them is very important like a matter of death or life... so please take it easy ya peasy and relax... any way they will close it soon. so at least leave a good memories...
