OP, yep thats a bit odd.
I am not a great player but I find even 1600 players on this web site drop pieces to one move tactics when you have 3 days per move and you can move the pieces. Not only that but several games of mine were won simply because the other guy stopped playing. So like you said if you were using a computer I would think you would have a much higher rating.
That said I still say congratulations. Playing 2000 level is still very impressive IMO and you likely have some games to be proud of.
