Good reasons for cheating on Chess.com

I'm just bad at chess and need some people to reassure me that cheating is ok, right?

Cheating messes with the rating system and throws off the match making algorithm. It causes disharmony and chaos and excelerates entropy in the chess universe leading to the deevolution of mankind. Only Doctor Who can save us. Does anyone see a blue police call box anywhere?

Found one by the dumpsters. Might need some fixing up though?

I thought the OP was looking for a list of reasons.

1) you want to ruin your reputation

2) you want to lose any money you paid for a membership

3) you are spending too much time on the site and want to be banned

4) you have sociopathic tendencies.

That is a start.

Cheating is NEVER justified, even if you suck you have no right to cheat! A better way to play better at chess is to learn good strategies, learn endgames, not play bullet too often, etc...

I suggest you take a break from chess, since you seem tilted, but if you do cheat you will have literally no friends on this site, if you do make friends, you'll get banned before you can really enjoy your time with them.

Doctor who?

Not many if any.

I have visited a lot of sites in my life. No site has done so dedicated work to detect and stop cheaters.

Of course you will say , that there are still out there quite a lot of them. True, but that's not fair. No-one can just magically detect and ban thousands of cheaters at once.

But it is one thing them existing and quite another to let them live and prosper.

Chess is the safest heaven for non-cheaters that there can be. I know this, because most of my games are pleasant. This means players are as good or as bad as me.

if this were in fun with chess people would add on

but because it isnt, everyone is addressing the point of the thread seriously

anyway

5) you want to test the strength of the bot (e.g. stockfish which always plays the second best move, idk how good that is; usually it has a decent move but if there is a hanging piece it wont take, recapture cycles are hell, and sometimes its just a blunder

two variations, one which resigns with only one legal move and the other plays it
