Got kicked !!!???

I don't think smoking pot is good for you, but it is kinda harmless .. I went to uni for just under a year on Vancouver island, Canada. /uvic. ( basically the pot heaven of North America )
I get the strong impression that red meat, cheese and hot chocolate from Timhortons are all infinatly more risky to your health. also way less fun.

U know what's crazy, I actually did a semester at NTU in Singapore before backpacking SE Asia. U don't get too many people out there who would think smoking weed is allrite, it's a death sentence if I'm not mistaken ?
And hey RonaldJoshephKay, the way I see it man, if u find something worth believing in then u should defend those beliefs brother. Within reason ofcourse : )

How'de u guys get the embeded video by the way ?

Nobody has ever been executed for smoking pot in s.e. Asia. In fact the average person has no problem with it. It's the governments who fell victim to American propaganda that have a problem with it.

Maybe the rest of SE Asia, but Singapore's a bit different man. They fine u for having Durians on the train. Although I did have a local guy sell me green in Bali, he was pretty chill, was scared out of his mind about being caught tho.

No, its not actually a big deal in Singapore .. it just cost much more, but then so do many things.
Angelo is right in ways tho...
we have some very strict laws in Sg on paper, ( which are all under revision currently ) they do also warn "death for drug traffickers" to foreigners entering Sg .. but the laws are all aimed at large scale trafficking, not use ... only two people were killed in the last 5 years, and they were bringing in a ton of heroin. ( also the nation was very divided on that execution, and it may never happen again now )
but you will often see teens hanging around smoking pot and drinking. there is no fear of getting caught .. the worst that might happen is it will be taken ... but I've never seen that before. ( perhaps if someone is breaking bottles etc) Police in Sg act more like shy brothers than scary authority, they are quite honorable and good hearted .. not power tripper with big ego... if a police is rude he will get spanked by some aunty haha.
pot, magic mushroom, LSD, drinking,...are not the fear, neither is prostitution or gambling ... its the very aggressive addictive tactics of mafia to use crack and heroin type of substances.. they steal away people lives and freedom of choice so quickly... they can also cost hundreds of billions to a nation .. it introduces corruption and complex problems that no one needs.
anyway much of the excessive anti drug laws back in the 1990's were caused by very strong bully tactics from the American government.
they tried to blanket all of Asia with serious threats, and even did illegal terrorist type of attacks against industry and finance ... so most nations bent to their demands, since they were very hostile and no one really knew what they might do.
now 25 years later, no one cares what new inventive morality they try to force down Asia's throat... 6000 years of civilized history and 44000 years of survival, has taught us a few lessons on how to govern ourselves rationally without need of American adult supervision ^_^
America wanted a mandatory 5 too 10 year jail term for people in possession of a hemp T-shirts or writing paper, which is probably 90% of every home in Sg ... the reality is that all over many parts of asia, like Nepal for example.. (where we go for a short holiday)... pot plants are as natural as bamboo ... its all over every hillside, and the locals all make cute paper and clothing with hemp... no one knows why America wanted such silly laws passed, as if we might smoke the paper and become evildoers?
so even to this day in Sg there are laws against poppy seed bagels or muffins or lip gloss with hemp oil, they will seize them at the airport lol .. and some 'American' Logitech mouse pads and other items made with recycled plastics .. because many recycled plastics have chemicals or byproduct oils used in the hemp fabric, pulp, and food industry.
insanity has no reason I guess, and many governments are insane :)

It's legal thoughg in a growing number of countries: Uruguay, Portugal plus some American states, I don't know how many.
So I think people located in the countries where it is legal should be allowed to mention the w-word since it makes no sense sanctioning talking about things that are legal in their country of residence.
For instance, gun ownership is legal in USA and illegal in most other countries. I would see no point in Americans being sanctioned for mentioning gun ownership. Or Germans for mentioning prostitution, because prostitution is now completely legal in Gernamy.

i have no idea what it is but you can totally find out here.
