My father is my coach and if I lose 1 game in a tournament he will scold me very badly. He's like WHY U MOVE HERE.well my moves has a reason actually...But is it okay to do that..Will it make me better or what

Tell him the reason you played the move.
And admit if it was a mistake.

Hope this helps. :D

I think you should try to find another coach/buddy or do it yourself. I think if you get scolded for making mistakes or losing games, it will not only put unnecessary pressure on you during a tournament (which may make it less fun especially after losing a game) and therefore may make you lose interest in Chess.

Yes, probably.

Emotions aside, do you understand & agree with your dad's analysis?  Next, do you understand why he might be frustrated?  If not ask.  Him not us.  That might be more helpful :-)

Discuss why you made a move.

Setup the position, and go over it together.

Haha this is so funny. My father in law is old school European and hes a pretty good player and I'm a newb at chess, so when we play and he WINS he scolds me for losing! So funny. He tells me 'Play better!' but is short on specifcs. But it's good for my game to play him even if I lose. I always learn something. He's more of a positional player, and very patient, wheras I'm still very impulsive and inexperienced.

Not a single response from the op. Looks like his dad has banned him from the forums.  Dads ftw.

Just tell your old man to go hang himself and then fire him as your chess coach.
