ye torbay league is the one with division 3 and 2 - yeah and there is a knockout cup which we unfortuantely went out of recently but i won my game!
i may see/play you when we play teignmouth in div 3

Hi guys, if you want to know what your grade is in USCF just add 100 to the Elo grade and it's about right.

The ECF have a new formula to convert a Grade into Elo;
(ECF x 5) + 1250 = FIDE
Personally I think it's wrong but thats what the ECF have come up with.
Hi Magic, thx for that. So if a person is graded 100 ECF then in Elo it's 1750? Wow now that is a wee bit on the high side. Whereas in the old system it would be 1400 a difference of 350.
