Grandmasters/Chess Champions die?

In todays world you have a good chance of getting murdered as a bank financer than a chess player 

Zed, in all seriousness, your chance of getting murdered as a grandmaster is no higher than your change of being murdered as a plain citizen. Chess is simply not popular enough for people to want to kill someone over it. The only famous GM that died in the height of his career was Alekhine, and although there is a chance he was murdered, it's very unlikely.

Everyone dies of something.  Saying "I don't want to play chess because if I play chess, I'll become a Grand Master and then someone might kill me" is a very, very, very, very, very long stretch.
