If you do the operator in the wrong order you get 5 meaning you are thinking about the rook. Calculators, and most websites, will give the wrong answer.
PEMDAS (Order of Operations) say do the multiply and divide first, left to right.
9+3x5-12/6-3 becomes
9+15-2-3 Then do add and subtract gives
24-2-3 is 19 and there is no piece worth 19 points.
