also #19, taking the knight is -1,0 on the evaulation bar, Bb4 is +1,0 on the evaulation bar.

You can’t prove anything until stockfish does. Csn’t do anything about that.

Probably because everyone you played were either beginners or they didn’t properly study the opening

There is a reason why top level players don't play the Haloween gambit

Please take the time to look at this opening in greater detail. When I say Bb4, I am referring to the well known Nxe5, d4, Ng6, e5, Bb4! or the more preferable move-order Nxe5, d4, Nc6, d5, Bb4! Both lines give Black a high or equal win rate in the Master's DB (I'm assuming most if not all of which is comprised of classical chess games) compared to when Black holds onto the piece. My apologies for not being too specific earlier, but in my defense I expected you to be able to it out.

Most likely that is because your opponents are not correctly prepared. They play the wrong lines, know little theory, and lack a decent understanding of concepts initiative and long-term pressure.

And one more point, evaluation when discussing openings is completely irrelevant. Openings are meant to give you a practical edge against your opponent. There are lines in the KID where White has +2 but that evaluation means nothing, and Black ends up winning these games regardless by posing practical difficulties to the opponent (ie. space advantage vs impending kignside attack).

Sure, at the Super GM level in classical time controls, computer evaluation probably plays a much more significant role. But apart from this group of 100 people, no one should be deciding what opening lines to add to their repertoire solely based on computer eval.

Simply one piece is better than two pawns. The extra piece will probably be able to take 1 or 2 pawns.

Well, I will never take the time to study the Haloween gambit, because I never played 1. …e5 against 1. e4. But your statements are true, I apologize for trying to prove my point against a 2200+ rated player, while my rating is 1400+.
