I might play my first FIDE tournament at the end of the month (rapid), and my first classical tournament in the middle of next month. The thing is that I'm part of the spoiled generation who learned chess by playing blitz online, so I probably really lack calculation skills and don't really know how I'm going to use my time. Rapid isn't a problem at all, as I've been playing mostly rapid recently and I've already played a rapid OTB tournament before, but I really wanted some kind of advice on what to think about during all this time I'm given in classical chess.
Also, any other advice would be appreciated (etiquette, preparation, anything).
