Magnus reached 2700 in July 2007 so he was 16 years old. Alireza reached 2700 in August 2019 so he was also 16 but a few months younger. Wei Yi was the youngest player to reach 2700 at 15 years old.

I feel he goes below the radar considering the exploits of nihal (in speed chess), arjun and pragg. He needs to win a few tournaments to get invitations into premium tournaments like pragg does.
