Just curious: what fake chess.com website is this that we're speaking about? I suppose I had never stumbled across any imposter pages for this community before, so this is new to me.

Not what I was saying. What happened was I noticed an account spamming a message and clicked their profile. Immediately I started receiving dozens of notifs from forums I had never posted in. But it was spamming them with messages about samy? Very strange. It happened to like 6 other people I think. It wasn’t from logging in on a fake website for me
