Happy 1 year anniversary of my blog

As some of you might be aware, this Thursday December 8th marks the 1 year anniversary of this blog. When I started posting, I never envisioned that this blog would be this large of extensive. I have gained some attention; I am pretty sure Garry Kasparov responded to one of my posts, and perhaps even more noticeably, John M Burke, who has gained national attention for being the youngest 2600 player in history, told me he enjoys reading my posts and that I remind him of a young Jackson Showalter. I do not know if this is because he thinks I have I mustache 6 inches thick (I don't), or if my play is similar to his.

In addition, I have probably posted more games from the Bergen Chess Mates tournaments then anyone else-but there are still tons of informative and educational material on the blogs Shuffleking74, Mimchi, and the blog of Anastacio Norely "Ted" Teodoro (he is not on Chess.com).

Also, I learned that certain players seem to always have my number when I play them. One of whom being Dennis Li, who has crushed me at least 5 times in the last 18 months. Also, John Muth has murdered me twice on the board this year (I am not evencounting the two times where I blew completely winning positions against him in blitz!).

I look forward to posting again soon! Check back this Monday or Tuesday- I know I will either be playing Freel, Sylvander, or Cohen this Monday- all of whom are higher rated than me.
