So I decided on a whim to see if ChatGPT could create a training repetoire for an opening and was surprised with what came back. I asked it to create a training plan to play the Englund Gambit as White and show the possible replies through the first three moves and it did so, describing not only the ideas behind each move in the opening, but also what the best overall opening line would be. It not only did this but would show evaluation lines within a certain range, in this case between +.3 and +1.0. Apparently, it can also create this in a .pgn format and create flashcard exercises, multiple choice questions and show how to sidestep trapping lines. It also can provide instructive games and create both .PDF files and .HTML files to play through a browser in offline viewing.
Has anyone else tried this with a specific opening, defense or training area such as tactics or fundamental endings and what has been your take on it?
