Were Bobby Fischer to rise from the grave and return to the board, how'd he be received in today's world? Between Scandinavian soccer fans, calculating caruana-machines, and 'interesting' American samurais, the answer should be quite clear. Mr Fischer wouldn't exactly be shown much love or respect. And of course, Bobby would no doubt have some 'kind' words to explain these bright folks as well. Now with that in mind, let's take a look at who he'd most resemble. If it takes you more than 5 seconds, you clearly haven't been following the chess world much. Only one answer makes any sense. Hans sMOKE Niemann!!! Once in a generation talent, you against the world mindset, and not overly fond of their peers. Only when Bobby broke their egos, they'd get up and applaud, but todays' SOKOLOVers throw tantrums when sMOKEd.
It has long been whispered that Niemann is possessed. Perhaps that demon is the #3 on your all-time list.
