I have not before against a person, but i did against a bot. If you dont know how to king checkmate ill explain. You cant usually checkmate with a king, beacuse if it is king vs king , it is a draw of insufficient material. But you can do a king move checkmate. But how? You cant move your king right next to another king because you know your king would get checkmated. But you can do back rank make and move your king discovered attack from like a rook, queen, or with bishop (idk with bishop but i think you can). For an example, you do Kc7# with a discovered attack with your rook at Ra8 and the black king at h8.
