Before seeing what that he has bad position and about to drop a rook… am I missing some here??
He resigned n ran away before seeing...

????
there are at least a million reasons why white should resign. First of all, he is already down a piece, and for some reason you don't realize that. Secondly, he is already about to lose at least a pawn, via Re1, Nxh3, Rxe3, Nxf4, etc.
In addition, Houdini gives -5. If you think he had a chance, he probaly should have played on, given you might make a mistake because you thought he had a chance.
EDIT: That last sentence is pretty crazy, I know

Did anyone even bother to read the second to last sentence in my post? All of your posts all lead to what I was trying to sy in my second to last sentence. So maybe I was not clear enough.

If you think he had a chance, he probaly should have played on, given you might make a mistake because you thought he had a chance.
Yeah, it makes sense. I had the same thought after a tournament game where I resigned and we analyzed and they evaluated an earlier position all wrong. I thought to myself if they're that bad then maybe there was still hope! (Although I resign pretty late so not really).

Telling a beginner to pack it up doesn't help them. They won't know why.
Except nobody in this thread was telling the beginner to pack it up. Rather instead, we don't fault him for making that choice on his own. Comprende?
+10 (orignally +1) if you used 'do you understand?' I would have made it +10. If you're spanish, tell me, and i will change to plus 10. If you just like using the word, i'll change it to plus 10. If you... Whatever, i'll change it to +10 :p

haters gonna hate

I may be new at this but why resign? My thinking is i wont quit till my king is pinned even if its my last piece. Am i wrong?

You think that way because you are new to this game, so it makes sense to play till the end, because us "patzers" usually made mistakes that turn the tables in the game, just because we blunder back or are unable to win "winning positions".
But eventually as you go up in experience and rating will realize that is just a waste of time to play hopeless games.

I added one, and that doesn't mean those million reasons don't exist or are not as worthy.
Still not reading my second to last sentence, huh? Well, I'll save you some time. What you're pointing out is my perspective. What I'm trying to say is that the position is perfectly resignable and completely lost. But what you didn't read and waste alot of time on was the fact that my second to last sentence completely illustrates wat your saying, in one sentence. Did you even bother to look a previous posts? Probaly not. Oh well...
