He who Queens last, Queens best!

Here's a dual Queen race from a game I played a while ago, although the final Queen did not actually arrive on the board, the threat was enough to end the game; the first time I've seen a resignation on account of a not yet existing piece!

4. Re7+ wins, unless I missed something.  Force the trade of Rooks, then the Bishop can stop the Pawn.

I don't think it does...

4. Re7+  Rxe7; 5.Bxe7  Kd7

White can now protect Bishop and pawn simultaneously with 6. Bf6 but this doesn't stop black queening the pawn, and the minute White tries to advance that pawn, the Bishop and the pawn are at risk from the Black King.

I'm not sure about 2. Re7+ either, after Kd8, I think it's entirely necessary to dispense with the Knight and create a piece advantage, which f7 achieves with little trouble

Until this day i havent commented any rudness in this forum, but now i am so tired of seeing people just write rude stuff that has nothing to do with the original post. Its just pathetic. Why bother writing anythin unless it is something constructive.
