Uh oh, I say check out loud...somebody send me to a shrink. I think I might have a minor case of severe brain damage.
You must have..its pretty obvious when your opponent is in 'check', so why do you need to say it?

The wearing of sport affiliated garments instantly moves you into the "mentally ill" category, for paying the dumb prices they want for them.

I don't suffer from mental illness. I rather enjoy it!
Lucky you..there is time yet though..Lol
BTW, have you noticed a higher alcohol intake among chess players? It was said that bad health of Mikhail Tahl was partly due to drinking too much.
This guy is a regular at my club. He always stands up inbetween turns and does calisthenics or flexes his muscled (probably for the intimidation factor).

Is he a teenager?
I don't know....he wont tell us his age...we figure anywhere from 16-20
A study by Walter Mischel in the 70s tested 4 year-olds to see whether they preferred one cookie now or two in 15 minutes. It was seen that those kids who could wait went on to achieve more during their schooling years and beyond. This has since been linked to a more developed 'rational' part of the mind. This is the part that is improved by in-depth thought and reasoning - for which chess is a great exercise. So really we should be in better mental health than non-players.
Physically though - we're stuffed!
Maybe these articles can explain why som many chess players drink:
