If you enjoy chess, know the rules and basics, just play as many games as you can. you can start by studying chess openings. go to the top of the page click on learn then book openings. Hang in there and don't give up.

Thanks for the help, I will slowly take it all in. I am a person who was born with Epilepsy - a seizure disorder. Which sometimes does not allow me to learn that fast. I hope the people on this site can go easy and have patience with me.

When I first started to play chess, I used to think that playing against people who were not as good at chess was the best because I wanted to win. But now I think that playing against better players is the way to truly learn the game. This site has some wonderful people who can teach you so much.
