My name is Josiah Toth, I am a 15-year-old boy from Ohio. I do not think I am unlike you. I love sports, games, and watching Star Wars. However, one of my passions is chess. I have been playing chess since I was three, but I was taught by my older brother who merely taught me how to move the pieces and found pleasure in playing scholar's mate against me until I figured out how to defend against it.

Paying for chess coaching can be very expensive, especially when one is extremely serious about improving. As a 15-year-old boy it would be near impossible to make this much money on my own. This is why I am asking for your donations to reach my goals. Your donations matter.

I want to improve, and I want to get a title, at least an FM.

I've been looking for a coach for a while and have been able to find one that is active and worth paying for. If I can raise enough money, I can get coached by a Grandmaster.

Here is some free coaching for you.
Do not play bullet, blitz, daily, 3-check, bughouse...
Play 15|10 rapid exclusively.
Use all your time before move 30 and finish on increment.
Whenever you lose a game, stop playing and analyse it thoroughly to learn from your mistakes.
Study annotated grandmaster games.
Study endgames, not openings.

your concern is irrelevant. it's not hard for a 1459 rapid to analyze the games of anyone under 1200. if you are just looking to try to prevent me from improving, please get off of this forum.

I also know a general idea of what to look for when trying to improve from that level as I did it self-taught. Your lack of basic chess is revealed when you don't understand that a 1459 rating isn't the best you can possibly be.

Good intentions, but you have the wrong guy. I'm no scammer and you can tell I am serous about chess just by glancing at m profile.
