I've been on a bad 5 loss streak in blitz. Any tactics to change that?

Sometimes you just have bad days where you tilt. Just take a break and come back the next day. Also, losing five games in a row is disheartening, but I'd say that's fairly normal if you play often.

Play more rapid games and get better at longer time frames than the blitz ones. Good luck!

The best tactics against multiple losses in a row (if these make you feel upset) is to take a break

Bruhhh! You only lost 5 games in a row?! I literally lost 12 RAPID ones. It is frustrating, but yeah, you will get used to it when you have an overall advantage.

  1. Learn core principles.
  2. Apply them in slow games.
  3. Analyze your decisions afterward.

This is the framework I use with students I coach.

I'm pretty sure a tilt is not the best time to learn a new opening
