There are ways other than reckless moves to make a game exciting. You might want to look into extremely sharp openings (like gambits, even unsound ones). If you're playing the same openings over and over again, you're likely reaching similar middlegames, and are therefore bored. So try something new, and sharp.
If making your moves seems like a chore, maybe you're just burned out. Perhaps all you need is a few weeks away from chess. Chess should be something you enjoy, not a dreaded chore.
If you're too addicted to take a break, perhaps cutting down your number of games could help.
What can I do when I get so bored with my games that i just make reckless moves to make them more exciting? I feel my paitence for the game is low! Live games forget about it... i get bored after 3 minutes and I'm not skilled enough to play faster games.
