Maybe I'll play over the board sometimes but I will never touch online chess ever again!
My (California inflated) 3 cents: I HIGHLY recommend you find some people to play chess OTB with. The thing about OTB is there is another person Right There for you to talk with: if they're better than you, you get to learn; if they're worse than you, you can teach them something; if you are equally matched, you get to practice. I only play online when I can't play OTB. (Oh also books are better than puzzles; try Move First, Think Later)
