It's fine. Focus on playing, having fun, and learning, not elo.

You should judge how good you are based on who you play in person. For most people that would be friends and family.

If you really want to be good compared to top chess players, play in FIDE or other official tournaments.

Dead average. Also, don't focus on ELO, focus on improvement and most importantly having fun.

Just so you know (and I mean this in a nice way), it’s probably not a good idea to reveal your age on an app/website like this, especially because there are a bunch of trolls on here who look for any weakness to exploit.

Totally agree with this. I would recommend that you edit the post to edit out your age. The internet can be a nasty place, and people who act nice can have bad intentions.
That said, I'll point something out in response to Deadmanparty: FIDE standards are MUCH higher than "average random person" standards of playing chess, but online seems to be somewhere in between. For example, a 1200 is a beginner by FIDE standards, but would crush pretty much all their friends and family. However, the same person is considered intermediate online.
If you want to be really serious, then yeah, otb tournaments are a desirable thing to aim to focus on, in the long-term. That said, despite 1000 being considered a new beginner otb, at 1000 I think you already should be easily crushing most if not all people you know who don't play chess much. You can also consider the "in-between" standard of online, which is higher than "random normal person" and lower than "FIDE players". I think that by chess.com standards, you would be an "upper beginner"; I've heard Gotham refer to 1100s as "intermediate" as well.
As has been mentioned before, though, you should focus on enjoying what you play and improving (if that's what you want) and not think solely about results and comparing to other people. You can always find people progressing faster than you. You can always find people progressing slower than you. It's not a race, and I'd say be content with where you at as long as you are putting in the efforts that you require of yourself given your goals.

I wouldn't say it's high, but it is really good, and shows that you have the potential to get much higher.

@ice_cream_cake, That is the best summary of the situation that I've read on here. Thanks.

Fair point. I am more concerned about sketchy characters who do roam the Internet, as from my experience, not all minors exercise the necessary precaution online. Example: I'm not a minor but my younger sibling is and I did advise that some identifying info be removed from my sibling's chess.com profile a while back.

a person mature enough to handle bad people should obviously also be mature enough to realise that topics like this are overused, boring, annoying, and not worth posting

this is a "i hit 1000 elo as a 13 year old" in disguise

I am 18 but only 800😭

Its too high , as per the formula for 13 year old geek rating should be 50*13=650 so should not be more than 650 if he is higher then he may be using corrupt means
