MY FAVORITE GAME IS A GAME I WIN!

My favorite is also Capablanca.  I'm not sure when it was.  It's in a book I have(somewhere).  He squeezes his opponent mercilessly, then when every condition is perfect for him, and his opponent is in zugzwang, he penetrates and kills.

My favorite game is the one that Al Horowitz played against Herbert Seidman during the US Championship of 1942. The perfect example of a violent game, both players went for the knockout, neither player worried about castling. Both Kings remained in the center with lethal threats flying everywhere. The game can be seen in the "King vs King" article. (Posted in "Amazing Games")

Fischer VS. Byrne, (Game of the century)

Difficult (impossible really) to narrow it down so fine, but one game I always return to and gives me a thrill everytime is Gufeld v Kavalek 1962. Amazing game with many fine subtleties.

Definitely "the immortal zugzwang game" Saemich vs Nimzovich.

One of my favorites is the 16th game from the second Karpov-Kasparov World Championship Match.  The most amazing thing for me is the way Kasparov beats one of my favorite players (Karpov) by first utilising the 'Kasparovian' theme of sacrificing a pawn for initiative (with 8...d5) and then ultimately crushing Karpov by what were more typically 'Karpovian' methods (the monster knight on d3).  It's a great game!

Fischer-Spassky 1972 Game 6. After it was over, Spassky joined the audience in applauding Fischer's win.

Yeah, I love exploring different games, especially ones that give you a reason beyond just playing. Lately, I came across Scrambly and it’s been interesting to see how mobile app discovery can actually turn into small earnings. I started with a 500 coin welcome bonus, tried out a few games I genuinely enjoyed, and the process for securing the account with ID verification was surprisingly fast—just a few minutes. I even found a secret website to make money that explains the steps clearly. Withdrawals are almost instant, which makes it feel more like a practical way to earn while exploring apps rather than a slow, drawn-out system. It’s simple: pick games you like, complete small milestones, and cash out without unnecessary fees or subscriptions. Overall, it makes discovering new apps feel rewarding.
