hi everyone, time to have a little structure

well I've popped over the 1000 mark now, and falling deeper into the chess rabbit hole.. been learning/obsessing over chess since Feb and feel it may be time for me to get a little opening knowledge. I've never studied openings, focused on principles till now as I read it wasn't important. I'd like to tickle some opening understanding, but keep it very limited. I play e4, between my old and new account I've played over 2000 games and happy with e4, as black I just roll with whatever is thrown at me and happy with playing black as much as white. it really is baby steps, I was thinking getting some understanding of 2 opening lines as white and two as black is ample at my level. any suggestions would be great, kings Indian defence looks interesting as not something I have played, it would throw me so it likely would throw others. as said, I play on principle so may have covered some lines to a degree however never paid any interest in names of openings ect.... so in a nutshell, with my first light dabble into openings what should a 1000 rated played avoid (apart from blunders😬🤣) and what should I look at considering I only want to focus on a total of 2 white and 2 black main lines for now. thanks all.

That's my second game with the few first moves remembered, I've had some rough games today but finishing on this to analyse in the morning, happy enough , see how I fair after a couple of hundreds attempts I guess 😃 still can't paste the chess board so essentially above is pretty pointless 🤣🤣👍
