Lookee...the guys with the high turn based ratings but low live ratings always say these things. Helps inflate the ego? Maybe.

It is apples and apples.

And queasy was simply a polite word. English is not my native tongue. Maybe squirmy is a better word.

Actually my OTB USCF rating is close to my online turn based rating.  That just happens to be a coincidence.  Looks like logic is not your native tongue either.

Hey...watch it, Teddy.

Thing is, not everybody plays online as do you. You depend only on what is in your head. Well, perhaps that's not a good thing for you. I can't be sure.

But, you can use a lot of work on your Bullet. Lay off the Vodka when you play that. Yah?

See, I tell you something nice.

You are playing multiple games, bound to lose a game against a stronger opponent, lose a game against a weaker opponent, win a game against a stronger opponent and win a game against a weaker opponent. If you win against a stronger opponent and increase your rating you will lose more points against the weaker opponent. How do you time your resignations, if they seem inevitable, to retain the greatest number of points? Resign to the lowest ranked opponent before mating in your other games? Before or after resigning to the higher ranked player? For the gamblers out there, there seems to be a bit of sport in winning a few points through this sort of computation....
