The only rule this thread breaks is the "be kind and respectful" requirement. The moderators will act using that rule only if a thread has become particularly nasty: this thread, while childish, has not come anywhere near that level of unpleasantness and therefore the moderators will continue to stay out of it while observing how it progresses.
