Congrats! You are the man!
The next time an asteroid heads for earth, I'm calling YOU to save us.

False modesty can be worse than arrogance.

Noreaster will one day hit 1500 on tactics. Just hang in their buddy! Practice everyday and put in the hard work like I"ve done and you'll be able to brag too. Don't hate homey!@
The following is an example of arrogance:
"I finally hit 2000 on Tactics Trainer! I am so great and awesome! Everyone, revel in my Earth-shattering accomplishment!"
The following is not an example of arrogance:
"I finally hit 2000 on Tactics Trainer! I'm so happy!"
Let us not confuse arrogance with merely being happy at something oneself has accomplished.
The argument can be put forth that the OP implicitly arrogantly said, "Everyone, revel at my great accomplishment" simply by posting his accomplishment at all. However, that interpretation requires extensive assumption and the interpolation of things the OP did not say.
The original post seems to more closely conform to the second item in the above list.
Hey, congratulations. I've only got a few points to catch up with you (about 1000) but I should be able to do that in no time. (yeah, right)
Oh, and I see nothing wrong with posting your accomplishments. He should be proud, nothing wrong with sharing that with the rest of us.
if a 1200 rated player posted about his tactics trainer rating of 1300 (which took him one year to acheive) that would be considered trolling on this forum. what a shame.
thanks everyone...I just hope that my new found tactical ability shows up on my games more often..haha..thats the hardest part I think
Great job man, now you gotta get to 2200. Whenever you get good the ladder just gets longer, best of luck!
Congratulations, 2000 is a solid achievement by any measure... This is not to denigrate your achievement at all (I also aspire to having a 2000 tactics rating someday, but I was wondering- to what extent is it easier to raise one's tactics rating than one's standard rating? I keep seeing people with "class player" blitz or online standard ratings that have tactics ratings of 2500+ (don't remember any examples). It makes sense that tactics ratings would be a little above standard ratings, but the difference just seems a little out of control with some people. Or maybe I'm just wondering how much I need to work on tactics to jump a rating class :)
I finally did it my fellow chess nerds!
