houdini 2 uci?

I currently have junior 12 install on my computer,

and i just purchased houdini 2 uci, I dont want to 

go through the hassle of putting it on winboard or that 

other program (which people say is easier but from 

reading about it still still really complex to me)

has anyone put the houdini engine on junior 12? ,

or perhaps fritz 12 (very similar)

Click ENGINE
Click CREATE UCI ENGINE
Point to the Houdini 2.0c EXE file.
Enter any preferred parameters.
Click OK
Click CHANGE MAIN ENGINE
Select Houdini and then click OK.

WinBoard (4.6.2):
---------------------
Click ENGINE
Click LOAD ENGINE
Select the Houdini 2.0 exe file by clicking on the "..." directory box
Click OPEN.
Check the UCI box.
Click OK.

just so people dont think im a complete moron  ihavent actually 

installed houdini  yet, i just wanted some feedback beforehand,

because of all the horror stories online about people having 

problems with it.
